101 Academy 2024 - goalkeeper coach role
We are looking for new staff to join the 101Family and deliver at the summer 2024 Academy across the country. The main aim of the role is to assist in the running of the sessions over the 10 weeks. You can find out more about the academies by clicking the link here.
Each Academy centre will look to include the following staff (number of staff is dependant on the number of players that sign up):
1x Head coach
3x coaches
1x development Coach
1x GK coach
1x Manager
We are looking for motivated and inspirational coaches to work with players who are striving to be the best they can be. The goalkeeper coach role is one for experienced and specialist goalkeeper coaches who can provide a top experience for the goalkeepers at the academies.
Job description:
lead in the delivery of the goalkeeper coaching at the centre and ensure a high level of detail is executed at all times
Take an active role in working with the outfield coaches during the sessions
Provide feedback to goalkeepers during the session
Be creative and inspiring in the delivery of your exercises
Provide sound technical feedback during the sessions
Work with the head coach to ensure the session plan is bespoke to the session
Support in any additional administrative tasks during the session
Help with first aid if required during the session
Attend all 10 sessions during the summer + the academy day
Help in promoting the academies in the build up to ensure a high level of enrolment
Provide feedback to Mike & Tom Millington regarding the running of the sessions
Be an ambassador for Sport101 and represent in a positive, professional manner
Requirements:
Safeguarding certificate
First aid certificate
EH level 1 coaching award (or equivalent but higher would be preferred)
Experience of working in performance environments. and have an understand of what it takes to be a high level athlete
Have a good technical understanding for skill development
Be proactive and organised
Be able to work as part of a team
Have a positive mindset
Have a desire to learn and grow as a coach

Rate: £50 per session + £120 for the academy day
