101 Academy 2024 - development coach role

We are looking for new staff to join the 101Family and deliver at the summer 2024 Academy across the country. The main aim of the role is to assist in the running of the sessions over the 10 weeks. You can find out more about the academies by clicking the link here.

Each Academy centre will look to include the following staff (number of staff is dependant on the number of players that sign up):

• 1x Head coach

• 3x coaches

• 1x development Coach

• 1x GK coach

• 1x Manager

We are looking to develop young coaches as part of our aim to create the next generation of young, talented coaches in the UK. We want coaches between the age of 17 and 21 who want to be a part of the 101Family and get the opportunity to learn form some of the top coaches in the country.

The aim of the role will be to support in the running of the sessions and help in creating a supportive and inspiring environment.

Job description:

• Support in the running of the sessions

• Take an active role in supporting the delivery of exercises in the sessions

• Provide feedback to players during the session

• Be supportive in the delivery of the sessions

• Provide sound technical feedback during the sessions

• Work with the staff to help ensuring that a bespoke experience is delivered to the young athletes involved

• Support in any additional administrative tasks during the session

• Attend all 10 sessions during the summer + the academy day

• Help in promoting the academies in the build up to ensure a high level of enrolment

• Provide feedback to Mike regarding the running of the sessions

• Be an ambassador for Sport101 and represent in a positive, professional manner

Requirements:

• Safeguarding certificate (if over 18)

• First aid certificate

• Have a good technical understanding for skill development

• Be proactive and organised

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Have a positive mindset

• Have a desire to learn and grow as a coach

Rate: £35 per session + £100 for the academy day
